BFAOA volunteers and the community will be working hard at the 22nd Annual Los Angeles Marathon. (LOCATION TO BE ANNOUNCED) Come and help cheer on the athletes!

The ATL Chapter of BFAOA will participate in the Black College Expo. Location TBA.

February 8, 2007
The DTW Chapter of BFAOA will participate in the Detroit Public School Aviation Week at Wayne Community College. Various Professional Black Aviation Organizations plan to participate. That same evening, BFAOA Convention Committee 2007 will meet.

January 15, 2007
Join BFAOA for the National Martin Luther King, Jr. March on Atlanta at the corner of Peachtree Street and Andrew Young International Streets at 12:30 p.m. Prior to the March at the Downtown Atlanta Landmark Diner at 11 a.m. The National Executive Board will meet. Following the March, the First BFAOA Meeting and the 2007 Convention Meeting will take place. SCLC Women in downtown Atlanta. The aviation community, their family and friends are encouraged to join us on this historical day.

The LAX Chapter of BFAOA will participate in it’s first National Black College Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The LAX Chapter of BFAOA will host their 32nd Annual Holiday Party at the King Drew Medical Center in Watts, CA from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Help promote literacy by bringing a children’s book in English or Spanish. Attendees are requested to appear in uniform. Volunteer your time and make a difference. Celebrate later that evening at a Holiday cocktail gathering, location TBA.
